Busy busy busy
After getting a late start on Nancy McNally's latest quilt a long two weeks ago, I finished the top this past Saturday. I had most of it done by Wednesday or Thursday but just couldn't motivate myself to sew the last sashing and row of blocks on so that I could add the border and call it done.
Then, I moved on to a wall hanging that was easier than it looked - all applique - and had the top done by noon on Sunday. It still needs to be trimmed down and then I can sandwich it and quilt it on my domestic.
After that, I went on to make these as a gift for a woman I'm hoping to meet while I'm in Utah later this month. I still have a couple of pocket prayers to make to include.
Tomorrow, I'm going to try and make a schlep bag for my trip. I'm only going to be there for two nights so I don't really need a suitcase...just a bag for a couple of tshirts and underwear & socks.
I'm not sure what I'll work on once I get back home...so many projects. I'm also in the process of trying to clear off my tables and listing one on marketplace along with my treadle machine -- no need to have them here when I don't use them except as collectors of odds and ends.
Guess that's all for this week.
Later Gator!
