short but sweet

Noticed this yesterday ... never fails... at least once EVERY quilt with applique'.
 My order of magna Glides came in the mail today... gave them a little time to warm up ( cuz they were in a FREEZIN' mailbox for a couple of hours) and then popped one into "Mo'e" and 'got 'her done!'
Since hubby's 80th birthday is Sunday and we started celebrating tonight and we'll continue through Sunday, I probably won't get the binding and label on until Monday. 

Oh!  I stitched these up last night & got the binding on earlier today...a pattern I'd been wanting to do.. and all scrap fabrics to make them.


I think I'll retreat to my sewing room; the daughter in law is starting to rub me the wrong way and I need to cool off.
