Lost and Found

Yesterday morning before leaving for the guild's sew in at the library, I tried to find my fabric panels that I want to chenille... could I find them? noooo, of course not.  Well, I went to the sew in anyway and had a great time just sitting and chatting with the gals.  After I got home, I looked again and finally found them - but tore up some stuff in the process ( and also did some rearranging).  I took pics when I found them; I know I did... I sent them to my friend, Katie.. but I'm not seeing them now.  Oh well, I know where they are now.

Today, I did a little actual sewing... ok, appliqueing - close enough.  I did this month's block for Gnomes for the Holidays
and another block of the puppy and kitten quilt I'm also working on.
two done and seven to go.  The background is really a soft buttery yellow that connecting threads calls custard.  I played around with the pic on my computer trying to get the background to show it's true color but I couldn't get it to.  Well, maybe once it's done and I can lay it out in the yard to take the pic... then maybe it will show it's true color.

It's just a little after nine but I'm tired ( even after a nap) so  Buddy and I are heading to bed where I will read for awhile.

take care... enjoy your Sunday

What to work on next

I finished the two gift quilts - and both have been delivered to a parent of the little girl recipient. I have the requested photo from one...
