Lost Track of Days

we've been 'quarantined'... not sure it's made me any more productive, but I have been busy.

I started this quilt on Friday after receiving the second panel in the mail on Thursday.  The original panel was cut off for some reason and I couldn't really use four of the animals.  Once the second panel arrived, I was able to cut all the blocks and then decide how I wanted to use them...  finished the top on Saturday.

Then, went on to finishing these guys up.  I had cut the parts out and had them fused down, but didn't do much in the way of appliquing them down since it was almost dinner time.

Sunday (yesterday), I pulled this out of a pile of 'want to do someday's... searched through my scraps and found everything I needed for the top ... will look for backing and batting later... think I have enough for the binding, but we'll have to wait and see.

Here's the first star block done... I couldn't believe how easy it was once I figured out the directions, which were easy but still needed focusing on.

And, here's the top completed.... just in time to fix dinner.
Not too bad considering that I spent the latter part of the morning and an hour or so of the early afternoon making these masks.  They go together pretty quickly but I was in no rush so probably took longer than actually needed.
Bottom two are for hubby and the adult son of one of our neighbors.  The orange one is for me and the multi colored one I'm going to offer to another neighbor.  There's an opening in the back so that a filter of some sort can be inserted - I just don't have any at the moment.

And that's it for now.  The flamingo quilt is still on Mo'e patiently waiting for me to work on it.

take care...
STAY SAFE..
ttyl.......

  1. You've been getting a lot done! I love the star quilt top! Pretty colors. I made some masks, too. Who would have ever guessed just a couple months ago that we would be doing that?

What to work on next

I finished the two gift quilts - and both have been delivered to a parent of the little girl recipient. I have the requested photo from one...
