Oops! Forgot to 'name' the post...

This is what I got out to work on today.... until I had a good look at it and realized that it was two identical panels.  I thought maybe I'd just go ahead and quilt it just as it is, but I don't really want to do that.  Looks like there will be some math coming up in my life very soon.  Both the panels and the starry silver are flannels and will make very cozy quilts once I decide how I want to do them.  There's three yards of the starry silver which would be enough if I just wanted to divide the panels and quilt them just as they are.... that would make pretty narrow quilts, though... more like wall hangings and I don't want that.  So, the panel(s) is hanging on my design wall while I try to decide what to do.

In the meantime, I remembered that I was going to make pillowcases today.   Here they are

All done and ready to deliver with the first pillowcase  I made a few months ago and the three pair of pjs I bought. And I've loaded backing onto Mo'e and will finish loading batting and a quilt top in just a bit.  I'm 'ironing' out the wrinkles in the backing - in other words, I sprayed with water and then put the clamps onto each side of the backing and have them just a little tight so that as the water dries, the wrinkles go away.  :).

backing - green and white
part of the quilt top - it's still folded.
I would like the chevrons/zigzags to go the same way- both top and backing- but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do that or not... We'll find out in a little bit.

Just thought about how I want to quilt it and laying the top so that the chevrons go the same way as the backing isn't going to work.  It would work if I was willing to take the backing off and repin it with the zigzags going from side to side, but I'm not... so there!  lol

Ok, it's all loaded and the top is basted down across the top ... now, it will sit until at least tomorrow morning.  I have a good idea what I want to do (straight lines in the solid white rows and in between each of the colors), but that's a lot of work.

Dinner's almost ready...

take care...
ttyl....

What to work on next

I finished the two gift quilts - and both have been delivered to a parent of the little girl recipient. I have the requested photo from one...
