There's nothing to tell quilting wise... because I've done NONE :(. My left eye is still healing and I am able to see more things a little clearer - like large print on magazine covers, etc. I don't think that's too bad for two/three days post surgery.
I just haven't felt comfortable enough to try working on anything quilty, but since the guild's sew in starts tomorrow, I think that today I'll try 'dipping my toe' into something simple. ( Had a GREAT night's sleep btw... over 8 hours with no interruptions).
Ok, I'm off to see what I can 'test the waters' on and, hopefully, tomorrow night, I'll have something to report and photos to share. :)
take care...
ttyl....
added: it's been a couple of hours since I posted... I trimmed the last 'quilt' that I completed before the surgery - made the binding and stitched it on to the quilt ... was about 1/2 way around when I realized that I was stitching to the front and not the back - so I'll have to hand stitch it to the back which I've already started doing but going to leave the rest until sew in tomorrow.
I also traced and fused 5 snowflakes onto white fabric - those are rough cut and I'll do the rest of the cutting tomorrow, too. These will go onto blocks that will be sewn together for a hanging for our front door... I cut out red blocks but I really want to do it in blue so I'll probably go back and cut blue blocks. Heck, I might do one of each.
later gater..........
