Wheeeeee! It's Wednesday

Already... WOW!..  This week seems to be going fassssst.

Here's what I worked on yesterday and finished up ( quilting) today.  It's a smaller lap size... something like 48" x 59"  give or take an inch or two.   The only time I used a ruler was to stitch just inside the long rows without blocks - everything else was free motion.  I guess you can call what I did in the blue blocks 'free motion'.  I used a stencil, but didn't use rulers to follow - and it shows, but I don't care... it's not THAT bad and I was practicing/learning a new pattern.

 Here's a better pic of the backing fabric I used... I'll also be using it for the binding when I make that tomorrow.  Wish I could remember where I got the pattern from - like the frog quilt, it will have to go un-named until I find out.
