Making Progress Monday

I finished loading the backing for the frog quilt onto Mo'e and then loaded batting and top... and started quilting.  It took me most of the day, with a couple of breaks, but IT"S DONE!!  I didn't get the little one done, though.  I was hoping there would be enough batting and backing to just add the doll quilt top on after I finished the bigger quilt.  There was plenty of batting but not enough backing... so I'll have to do it later, and probably on one of my domestics... maybe at the next sew in.
It was actually kind of fun to do... I didn't have any problems with the thread ( top or bottom) and I messed my quilt path up a couple of times, but I didn't care... I just 'went with it'.
There's Mr. Prissy... checking it out... I think it got his seal of approval.

The photo below is a peek at the backing ( and binding) fabric.  It's actually a bit brighter than the way it shows on here.
This quilt - and matching tote bag will go to my youngest daughter --eventually.   Maybe in the meantime, I'll find the pattern again so that I can put the title of the quilt onto the quilt's label.

That's it for tonight.... I want to make sure I get in front of my tv before AGT comes on... something about it being the Olympics of former winners.  I'm just curious to see what it's about.

take care....

What to work on next

I finished the two gift quilts - and both have been delivered to a parent of the little girl recipient. I have the requested photo from one...
