Red White and Blue

Ta Da!!  The QOV quilt is DONE!!  Not without some OOPPS! though.  I had some hiccups with the thread in a few spots... I don't know what caused it, but after refilling a new bobbin and doing some stitching ( which went fine), all of a sudden I couldn't stitch more than a couple of inches when the bobbin thread would break... this happened quite a few times.  I don't know if it was the way the thread wound onto the bobbin or what the heck happened.  After this happened SEVERAL times, it returned to normal and was a breeze after that.  Until....
as I was trimming the edges, I came across this...

see that blank white strip?  yeah, well, it was supposed to have waves quilted on it.  I had already trimmed two sides of the quilt so didn't think I'd feel comfortable reloading it onto Mo'e... thought well, I could do it on my domestic - no, not a good idea; I'd have to either find a thread to match which I'm pretty sure I don't have or use the thread I'd been using on Mo'e, but then I'd have to wind a new bobbin - oh FORGET IT!... I decided to just leave it blank ( and maybe leave others wondering why  LOL).

It's completely done now.... binding, label and all.  Here's what the back looks like...
I like it!
The froggie quilt I finished Monday is in the washing machine right now... there were still tiny pieces of Golden Threads paper in it and it was just easier to toss in the washer than to find tweezers to pick them all out.  Tossed a fabric softener ball in with the quilt to make it soft and, hopefully, a little more cuddly.

I told hubby this morning that as soon as I finished the quilt, I would go pay bills and get groceries.  It's cold out there and I really don't want to go out, but I've got to do it.

Tomorrow, it's back to the I Love My All stars quilt blocks.  I think I'll just keep working on them until I get enough for the top.  Once I get the top completed, I'm going to start on the Scooby Doo quilt; I should have plenty of time to get it done before our guild's quilt show so that I can show it before shipping it off to Scotland.

First, I think I'll load one of my smaller quilts onto Mo'e... going to go look to see what I have that's small.

What to work on next

I finished the two gift quilts - and both have been delivered to a parent of the little girl recipient. I have the requested photo from one...
